Watercolours by Fons Teijssen

Fons Teijssen has drawn and painted all his life, tried out all kinds of techniques and finally watercolour became the language he wants to use to tell about the world he lives in. Thus, with his brush he tells about the Mechelen of his youth, his Lier, his long stays on the Belgian coast and in Bruges, the visits to southern Spain, to France and to Virginia USA, where he regularly stays with his partner. He is always looking for new viewing angles, different from the most drawn or painted images. He calls it chance encounters and keeps looking for the world behind the one we know. He exhibited his works in different places, all over Belgium, as well as in the Netherlands, France, Poland and at the end of 2023, he will also be invited to participate in the Boardwalk Art Show in Virginia Beach. In Bruges, he will exhibit an overview, with additional new work he painted in Bruges.
