Simulacrum - Yves Gabriels & 9 kunstenaars

A copy without an original The title of this exhibition means as much as 'a copy without an original, it is therefore no longer linked to anything original or real'.   House artist and guest curator Yves Gabriels has invited nine artists with whom he has an affinity and awe. Four artist couples and one 'unknown artist' present work that cannot always be linked to Yves' work in terms of content or form. The use of digital and other media certainly do.   Yves himself is making a new video for this exhibition that is a translation of his childhood dream of being able to take people off television.
