
Brugse Zandfeesten
Bruges is known for hosting one of the largest antiques and bric-a-brac markets in Flanders. The Bruges Sand Festival enjoys fame in Belgium and in many other countries in Europe for its huge range of quality items. Antiques, brocante as well as many other curiosities are offered here in a summery atmosphere. This, combined with a bite to eat and a drink on one of the catering terraces, make a visit to the Bruges Sand Festival an absolute must. On the first Sunday of July, the first of August and the fourth of September, stalls are set up from the railway station to 't Zand and the surrounding area. The Sand Festivals can be visited from around 6am in the morning until 6pm in the afternoon. The stallholders are set up from 't Station to 't Zand and environs: Along the Begijnenvest: - From Oostmeers to the Poertoren (Minnewater Bridge) - From Poertoren to Sebrechtsstraat In the Koning Albert I Park: - From Oostmeers to Concertgebouw and Westmeers on and around 't Zand: - Central square Zand - Vrijdagmarkt - 't Zand, between Noordzandstraat and Zuidzandstraat - 't Zand, between Zuidzandstraat and Westmeers - Hauwerstraat
