With the bouncing Barno Koevoet and his Duijmschpijkers, Bruges has a bunch of punks working their way into the spotlight. Koevoet is a band with suits attitude and a good dose of ADHD that has the energy of a gang of kids on a sugar rush live. But don't be fooled: their songs are razor-sharp and inventive. With their greasy bass lines, snappy guitar salvos and pumping drums, they popped out a five-song EP in seven minutes, including energy bombs like 'Fight Me Boomer' and 'Fat Scum', which earned them a final spot for The New Exposure 2023. As a laureate of Sound Track 2021, Barno Koevoet is also put forward as a switch to the future by Vi.be, the Club Circuit and AB.
