't Zand ('t Zand Square)
Welcome to the largest square in Bruges. Until the early years of the 20th century, this was the site of the railway station. Now the striking Concertgebouw (Concert Hall) demands your attention, and the open square boasts as many as 150 linden trees, creating lots of inventive green corners where you can take a rest and watch the world go by. For the whole of Bruges passes through, and this is also the place where many major events are held.
