The Royal Guild of St.-Joris Staken Boog boasts a history which dates back to the middle ages. The guild maintains the tradition of crossbow shooting, practising both shooting at targets and popinjay archery, whilst also maintaining the traditional values and customs of the guild. Just like their colleagues and neighbours, the St Sebastian's Guild, the archers have a precious collection in their archives as well as a unique selection of crossbows.
