Molenbrug (Mill Bridge)
Free Bridges and water Outdoor

Did you just enjoy a hearty evening meal in Langestraat or a spot of shopping in Hoogstraat? Take a short walk to the Mill Bridge, which connects the two streets. Today, it forms the transition between the quiet St Anna District and the bustling city centre. Once an important Roman country road and later an important gateway to the city. The gate has disappeared, as has the water mill which the bridge was named after. The mill is, in fact, recorded as one of the oldest known mills in Flanders. Enjoy the best of both worlds here. The picturesque Sint-Annarei on the one hand, the branching Groenerei and Coupure on the other. A place where you don't know where to look first.
