Augustijnenrei (Augustine Canal)
The Augustijnenrei is a little-known but enchanting canal, perfect for a heavenly stroll. Excavated in the 12th century and proud owner of the sturdy Augustine Bridge, not coincidentally one of the oldest bridges in the city. The name of the canal refers to the Augustinian monastery, which has now disappeared. The monastery may have been demolished, but you can still find peace and quiet here.
