Handmade in Brugge: pimp your interior with some handmade stuff

Bruges is a city of makers, people who shape the world around us every day with their passion and drive ... the traditional way but also very contemporary at the same time. Even though Bruges is often associated with the virtuosity and mastery of craftsmen of the past, today, too, this city is home to many professionals, designers and craft businesses alike. You can find quite a wide offer of handmade stuff in the city. Here is just a taste of the amazing pieces made by the creative entrepreneurs of Bruges!

Frederiek Van Pamel

His new store is about to open anytime now, but in the meantime, his pop-up store focuses on interior concepts. Van Pamel is also a floral artist – so you can find help here with designing your interior or garden as well as with organising events as weddings. Watch out for his new shop!

Pol Standaert

Did you visit the Casselberg Hotel? Because the dome of the hall for example is handmade by Pol Standaert. Restoration is a very strong site in this case, therefore they are responsible for so many renovations of mansions. I also have to mention the great work with the stone (washbowls or fireplaces) such as ornament work on plasters or moulding.
